Moshiach

Maimonides composed thirteen principles of the Jewish faith. The twelfth - "I believe with complete faith in the coming of Moshiach (Messiah) and although he may tarry nonetheless, I await his coming every day."

  Moshiach, a descendant of King David will bring peace to the world. He will create an atmosphere, in which all creations will serve the One and Only G-d A-mighty.

The Jewish people have been awaiting the Moshiach for two thousand years. In 1991 the Lubavitcher Rebbe declared as a prophecy that "the time for the (Jewish) redemption has arrived" and "Behold Moshiach is coming."

The Lubavitcher Rebbe is famed for his prophetic words. He foresaw the downfall of the former Soviet Union, the miracles of the Gulf war. One can fill thousands of books with the many miracles he performed with his holy Blessings.

His request of mankind is to add in acts of goodness and kindness to help hasten Moshiach's arrival.
